Now to answer the burning question…

Why are ceramic coatings so expensive?

There are 3 main reasons

1. Ceramic coating application takes TIME. The average ceramic coating takes about 8-10 hours to apply. That’s like a whole day!

2. Ceramic coatings are the toughest most durable high end form of paint correction out there. They last for YEARS not months!

3. In order to properly install ceramic coatings we put ourselves through some serious training. In fact we spent about 90 days going through the most reputable ceramic coating and paint protection training there is. Not to mention all the practice that followed. So at the end of the day we are charging for our expertise.

How Does a Ceramic Coating Work?

Once the ceramic coating is added to the paint, your car gains an additional layer resembling a highly durable, scratch-resistant, and water-repelling skin. This shield is crafted to defend against various external elements like bird droppings, insects, rain, pollen, minor scratches, and more. While standard auto detailing offers temporary cleaning and protection, ceramic coatings establish a lasting safeguard for your vehicle, preserving its value until the day of trade-in – ultimately translating to increased savings for you!

What is a Ceramic Coating?

As detailers, we often resist delving into intricate explanations about the wonders of ceramic coatings, but we'll skip the technical jargon. Think of a ceramic coating as an ultra-thin, transparent shield made of silicone dioxide (similar to glass) that envelops your car's paint, glass, and trim. Nano ceramic coatings offer not only a rich, glossy look but also boast a lifespan of 3 to 7 years. Essentially, ceramic coatings serve two key purpose.

1.Long term paint protection

2.Beautiful gloss and shine

Once the paint is thoroughly cleaned, decontaminated, and perfected, a fine liquid ceramic coating is administered. It is allowed to cure before being meticulously polished away, leaving behind a delicate ceramic layer. This layer is left to cure for a day, and the process is as straightforward as that.
